About Me
I’m Sarah. And honestly? I’m terrified, too.
I started Unapologetic You in 2020 to help women shatter glass ceilings, find their voice, and unapologetically claim the careers they deserved. I loved it. But then I had my son. Suddenly, the future looked entirely different.
I watched the news. I read the horrifying statistics on youth mental health. I saw teens driving the wrong way down motorways, sucked into the manosphere, or risking their lives for TikTok views just to feel seen. The truth hit me like a ton of bricks: our young people are drowning in a crisis of purpose.
As a mother, that terrified me. So I went looking for answers. I dug deep into the research, determined to find what actually protects a young person in a world that feels increasingly unstable. The evidence pointed relentlessly to one thing:

The single most powerful force we have against youth mental illness, loneliness, and digital addiction is a strong relationship with a parent or adult figure.
Not an app. Not a seminar. You.
That was the moment everything shifted. Since 2020, I’ve spent years coaching people to strip away self-doubt, uncover their authentic purpose, and face the internal blocks holding them back. Paired with my corporate background in communications and Learning & Development, I realised I already had the exact toolkit needed to tackle this crisis head-on.
The skills that help someone thrive in their career — emotional regulation, radical honesty, and knowing how to hold your ground under pressure — are the precise skills parents need when standing in front of an overwhelmed, defensive teenager.
So, I’m taking everything I’ve learned about human behaviour, workplace dynamics, and purpose, and channeling it into helping parents like you. My job is to make this brutal chapter a little easier: giving you the space to unpack your own triggers, take off the pressure of being "perfect," and become the steady anchor your teenager can lean on. And in the workplace, I bring focused masterclasses to life, giving working parents that massive sigh of relief so they can breathe easier at home and focus properly at work.
Navigating an AI-dominated, hyper-connected world is scary. But our kids don't lack potential; they just need grounded adults to guide them through the noise. I'm here to help you rebuild that connection, steady the house, and raise young people who know exactly who they are.
